Asyad Group has unveiled a new tender for the design, construction, financing, operation, and transfer of an office complex within the Muscat Airport Free Zone (MAFZ). Covering an area of 4,925 square meters, this initiative underscores Asyad’s dedication to collaborating with the private sector on key logistics projects aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
This tender marks the second invitation for local private sector involvement in the development of MAFZ, aiming to accelerate the project’s pace and expand opportunities for local businesses. The project seeks to transform the designated area into a state-of-the-art business center, offering investors infrastructure to operate with maximum efficiency.
The planned complex will feature ready-to-move-in office spaces, retail areas, and a variety of adaptable function rooms, including boardrooms, meeting rooms, auditoriums, and event spaces. This facility is designed to cater to diverse business needs and project requirements, creating an attractive environment for global and regional corporate headquarters, financial and consultancy institutions, trading companies, and startups.
By fostering an advanced business infrastructure, the new center aims to enhance MAFZ’s appeal as a premier global business hub. This initiative will not only support the growth of the Sultanate’s logistics sector but also boost foreign direct investment (FDI) by offering world-class logistics support and facilities.
Faisal Ali Al Balushi, Director of Muscat International Airport Free Zone at Asyad Group, highlighted the strategic significance of this tender. “This tender represents a key step in establishing the Muscat Airport Free Zone as a dynamic global business hub.
